Last week, Kelly Osbourne hit up just about every New York Fashion Week show, where she totally and confidently rocked her new figure no matter what weird Flintstone outfit she was wearing.

Of course, we were all like, "Dayum, how'd she get so fit? We need the SECRETS!" The new issue of Us Weekly has them, but first, this is what Miss Kelly O. has to say about battling her weight vs. the painkiller addiction that sent her to rehab a few times:

"I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict. I will never understand that."

We've always liked Kelly for how honest she is, and, really, she's kinda right—that's just the way this crazy town works.

Kelly says she lost the weight without going the fancy, trendy diet route, just regular old exercise and portion control. Previous failed efforts, she says, mostly came down to a lack of motivation.

"I never wanted to do anything to fix it," she told the mag. "For a very long time, Mrs. Field's salted cookies were my favorite thing in the world...It's hard to get out of a hole you've dug so deeply."

And 42 pounds later, the story has a happy ending:

"I'm really proud to look in the mirror and not hate every single thing I see. I no longer think, 'Why don't I look like this girl or that girl?'"
