It's over.
Pretty pair Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish have ended their relationship, E! News has confirmed. But exactly who called it quits on whom is another question.
"Ryan ended the relationship with Abbie recently while she was in Australia and asked her to remove her things from his residence, which she did this weekend," his rep told E! News. Pretty straightforward, right? Wrong.
"Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home," a rep for Cornish said in a statement.
The split was first reported by People, which said the Australian actress had been seen moving out of the couple's L.A. home over the weekend. But while they may not be able to decide on who's home it was, or who called it off first, both at least agree that it's over.
The pair met on the set of the film Stop-Loss in 2006, the same year Phillippe divorced Reese Witherspoon, with whom he has two children.
Cornish has most recently been seen in Bright Star, Jane Campion's movie about the doomed romance between John Keats and Fanny Brawne—not to mention the latest cover of Vanity Fair.
Phillippe will next be seen in the explosive comedy MacGruber.
