Victoria Beckham Weighs In on Skinny Models

During her one-day gig cohosting The View, Posh advocates for "healthier-sized" catwalkers. Oh, irony!

Victoria Beckham stopped by The View today to cohost. With this being Fashion Week and Posh having showcased her dress line just a couple days ago, the View ladies had to work that in, so they chose to Hot Topic the superskinny model issue—a popular talking point that always goes along with Fashion Week.

Vicky (and her note cards) had some points to make. Like how the Council of Fashion Designers of America "have actually reached out to designers, stylists and casting agents asking them to not work with underage girls, girls that are too thin and to be ethnically more aware...They are definitely trying to encourage designers to work with healthier-sized models."

Of course, the irony here is who's Victoria Beckham to advocate for "healthier-sized models" when she's so skinny herself? But then we looked at her runway and realized her models are both ethnically diverse and have a hint of hips and a womanly shape. So she actually kinda won us over.

Now, if only she could do something about those prices.
