Lester Cohen/Getty ImagesCountry music bad boy Trace Adkins is set to continue the Louisiana leg of his tour following his band's Saturday morning bus crash, which claimed the lives of two motorists.
A pickup truck reportedly drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into Adkins' tour bus. The former Celebrity Apprentice star was not on board during the time, but immediately drove to the scene of the accident to check on the victims and his five bandmates, who were treated for minor injuries.
"This is a real tragedy," Adkins said in a statement. "Two people have been killed and I don't even know their names. So out of respect for their families, I prefer not to comment too much at this time."
Adkins, who is currently on tour with country star Martina McBride, will take the stage with an acoustic set Saturday night, while sitting out Sunday's show in Florida.
