Jewel's bull-riding husband, Ty Murray, is so totally done with dancing.

Even if he learned some impressive fancy footwork while competing on Dancing With the Stars, Jewel says the hubby has hung up his dancing shoes...

"Ty is retired from dancing," Jewel, looking gorgeous in a J.Crew gown, told me this week at the Hollywood premiere of Valentine's Day. "No more dancing. He breaks out in hives when he goes by the studios he used to practice in."

Jewel's song "Stay Here Forever" is featured on the Valentine's Day soundtrack, along with tunes from Taylor Swift, Leighton Meester and Amy Winehouse, among others.

Jewel originally wrote the song for Ty. No, they won't be dancing to it on Sunday.

But they will be together for their annual romance holiday tradition.

"We don't have any big plans, but we always try to be together and write each other love letters and then we read them to each other," Jewel said. "I have a box with all the letters."
