Kristin's best frenemy says that it's possible Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) and Ellis Grey (Kate Burton) had a baby together back in the day on Grey's Anatomy. Mer's (Ellen Pompeo) late mother and her current boss certainly had sneaky sex during their early days at Seattle Grace, so a baby might very well have been made and then put up for adoption.
And between the fact that (a) secret siblings are all the rage on ABC these days (hello Walker kids!) and that (b) Grey's might be down a couple of castmembers by the end of the year, let's just say, for the sake of discussion, that it's possible, and kick-start our dream casting:
