90210 Reunion: Tori Spelling to Guest in Pilot; Ian Ziering Definitely Wants In

The plot thickens! Or at least the cast list for CW's new 90210 spinoff thickens!
Sources close to Big Green tell me that Tori Spelling will join former castmate Jennie Garth in the new series. After asking to guest star on the series, sources tell me that she has been written into the pilot. In that first ep, Tori cameos with a few lines in a brief shopping scene with the girls.
I'm told that Ian Ziering, aka Steve Saunders, is also very interested in signing on. In fact, I'm hearing that both Tori, Ian and their "people" have been reaching out to producers and the network on a almost daily basis to see where the situation with the show stands!
Awww...the gang's (almost) all here!
As for Jennie's part in all this, I'm hearing she was originally supposed to be a series regular, but she would only sign on as a recurring character to start. She wants to see how the show does before committing to a specific number of episodes.
Worth noting: None of the original castmembers wanted to be the first to sign on, but once Jennie went for it, they followed suit. Always a leader, that Kelly!
From what I'm hearing, many of the original castmembers are expected to make cameos at one point or another. Dare we hope for some Jason Priestley or Luke Perry action while we're here?

Click in for two video sneak peeks of the two-hour Grey's Anatomy season finale, airing this Thursday at 9 p.m.
According to the official description, "Meredith and Derek have one last shot at a successful outcome in their clinical trial, as the other surgeons work together to free a boy from a hardening block of cement. Meanwhile, Izzie helps Alex care for an ailing Rebecca, and Lexie discovers critical information about George's intern status."
As for the unofficial description, I'm told this is a good one for all of you long-suffering Alex and Izzie shippers out there. And by all of you, I mean me.
As for MerDer, definitely pay attention to Joan Rater on the Grey's Anatomy Grey Matter writers blog and, "Keep an eye on that champagne bottle."

I'm currently working with the scientists at Cal Tech to develop medication or shock therapy for this ailment, as I have it, too. I'll keep you posted. Not sure if this should technically be in the spoiler section, but sources close to the show tell me that Lauren Conrad and Stephen Colletti (also seen on One Tree Hill) are "heating up" in their "rekindled romance!" Holla! And get this: Word is, Stephen may actually be moving to Los Angeles to live with Lauren this summer during One Tree Hill's hiatus. Juicy, no? Says the source: "They're doing really well together."
