Angelina Jolie Cheered by Haitians
Talk about your warm welcomes.
A day after Angelina Jolie met with displaced survivors of the Haiti earthquake in the Dominican Republic, the actress and U.N. Goodwill Ambassador took time out Tuesday to visit with several young orphans at an SOS Children's Village just outside the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince.
It seemed like Jolie's efforts were very much appreciated—the Haitians could reportedly be heard chanting "Angie! Angie!" over and over again.
The trip comes just days after she was seen rooting for New Orleans. But it's pretty clear who the real Saint is here.

I Love New York 2 Contestant Convicted of Murder
Let's see if he loves prison as much as New York.
Jamal Rashead Trulove, a San Francisco native who appeared on the VH1 reality series I Love New York 2, was convicted of murder Tuesday for shooting a man outside a public housing project in his hometown.
Per the San Francisco Chronicle, jurors found Trulove, 29, guilty of first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm in the death of 28-year-old Seu Kuka in the Sunnydale public housing project. An eyewitness testified that Trulove gunned down Kuka after the victim got into a spat with the ex-reality star's brother.
The incident occurred in 2007, three weeks after Trulove finished filming in Los Angeles on I Love New York 2, a contest pitting guys against one another for the love of Tiffany "New York" Pollard. He was knocked out the very first episode for fighting—imagine that.
Truelove, who wept upon hearing the verdict, faces a minimum of 50 years in state prison. Sentencing is scheduled for March 19.

Real Housewives' Kelly Bensimon on Getting Naked for Playboy
Kelly Bensimon may be Playboy's latest cover model, but that doesn't mean taking her clothes off for the camera was easy.
"I'm pretty nervous," the Real Housewives of New York star tells me. "Everyone thinks of me as this exhibitionist, and I'm not. I'm just not that kind of girl. I'm not that kind of model. I wear clothes!"
Read on to find out what she says about why she did it, about full frontal nudity and about assumptions that this is all an attempt to outdo costar Bethenny Frankel.
Does Rihanna Get Paid to Watch Fashion Shows?
Do celebrities get paid to sit in the front row at fashion shows? I think I read that somewhere.

Oh don't stop there. Take me as an example. If, say, Michael Kors would like me to appear at his show during New York's Fashion Week, which starts Thursday, I shall do so for the modest fee of $100,000.
But if he wants me to appear in his clothes, that's extra. And if he wants me to appear on the red carpet before the show, that's extra, too. And if he wants me to say nice things about his clothes in the press...You get the idea.
Among the stars recently seen at fashion shows—Kanye West, his Silly-String-clad girlfriend, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Anne Hathaway—at least a few of them charge the designers for the honor of their presence.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson Together Again…to Deny Abuse Rumors
There's no denying that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson had a tumultuous relationship, but an abusive one? Not quite, they claim.
After rumors hit the Net that the DJ punched and choked the starlet, the former pair presented a united front to dispel the myth…and even threaten people with lawsuits.
"This is become a bit much," Lindsey wrote on Twitter. "Samantha R never raised a hand to me. I've never said she did. Enough is Enough. Focus on more important world issues."

Deadliest Catch Captain Phil Harris Dies
Not the sort of finale we had hoped for.
Phil Harris, the salty skipper of the Cornelia Marie on the Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch, has died. He was 53.
The deep-sea fisherman suffered a stroke on Jan. 29 and, although both his immediate and TV families were clinging to small signs of a recovery, he ultimately succumbed to the trauma on Tuesday.
"It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dad," Harris' sons, Jake and Josh, said in a statement. "Dad has always been a fighter and continued to be until the end. For us and the crew, he was someone who never backed down. We will remember and celebrate that strength. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers."
Talking about his life at sea recently, Harris said there are certain superstitions he always abided by.
Ellen Tortures With Ease on American Idol
Ellen DeGeneres' first episode of American Idol could have been her 100th. She fit right in.
Not only did the show wisely not dwell on her too much, leaving the emphasis on the terrifying "sudden death" round of Hollywood week, but she wasn't too funny, either.
Meaning, we hope, there's plenty left in the tank for future rounds.
But while DeGeneres looked very serious in her reading glasses and crushed dreams like a grizzled veteran, she still brought some much-needed funny to the proceedings—an element Idol has always possessed, only this time it was coherent and intentional!
Not that Paula Abdul wasn't missed...

Channing Tatum Reveals Stripper Past to Ellen DeGeneres
Dear John, what is Channing Tatum doing?
Turns out the hunky star of the nation's top movie wasn't always an actor. But as he reveals to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, the guy always did know how to put on a show.
"I was a stripper," he says on the episode airing Wednesday. "Look, I'm not proud of it, but I'm not ashamed of it."
Good. Judging from Ellen's enthusiastic response, she's not ashamed of putting the star's dance talents on display for her audience.
"I wish I had a dollar. If only I had cash I would have kept you going," joked DeGeneres.
"Don't worry, that one was on the house," said Tatum.
Aw.

Jay Leno Gets His Punk'd Ass Out of Prime-Time
And just like that, the great Jay-Leno-at-10 experiment is over.
The beleaguered funnyman on Tuesday presided over the final episode of The Jay Leno Show—which, as it turned out, was just part of a really elaborate punk orchestrated by guest Ashton Kutcher.
"Six years ago, I sat in an office at NBC—unfortunately, we forgot to roll the cameras and so I don't have any of the tape, but I thought I'd come out and do the reveal," the Valentine's Day star explained.
"You did a hell of a job," Leno marveled. "I'm glad it's over."
But while this leg of Leno's journey was seemingly over before it began, he successfully milked his ill-fated adventure in prime-time for all it was worth.
